Elliot Blackstone Named Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week

Elliot Blackstone (Wexford/Pine Richland) has been named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week for the week of March 22, 2010.

Blackstone led the Behrend Lions to a 2-1 week which saw two wins coming in the AMCC.  In a match against Pitt-Bradford, Blackstone was very impressive recording a 6-0, 6-0 win at #1 singles and teaming up with Chris Galvin to post an 8-1 win at # 1 doubles.  He would continue his great play in the only loss of the week to Penn State Altoona another #1 singles victory and another doubles victory with Galvin.  Blackstone would dominate the last match of the week against D’Youville in which he blanked his opponent 6-0, 6-0 in #1 singles.

The Behrend Lions will next host the Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats on Tuesday, March 23 at home.  The blue and white are now 7-5 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
