The Robert Wesleyan men’s tennis team earned its fifth win of the fall season with a 9-0 decision over Penn State Behrend in non-conference action on Thursday.
ROCHESTER, NY – The Robert Wesleyan men's tennis team earned its fifth win of the fall season with a 9-0 decision over Penn State Behrend in non-conference action on Thursday.
The Redhawks (5-1) halted the Lions (0-3) from getting their first victory, sweeping the doubles and singles matches for the sweep.
Julio Toledo-Lopez led the way for the Robert Wesleyan, teaming with Charlie Farres to take first doubles at 8-0 and then winning a hard fought match at first singles 6-4 6-3 against Taimi Ando (Franklin Lakes, NJ/Ramapo).
The remaining four players for the Redhawks were also double winners on the day.
Behrend returns to action on Wednesday against Mercyhurst. Match begins at 3:30 p.m.
