ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst men's tennis proved too much for Behrend, defeating the Lions 7-2 in non-conference action on Wednesday.
Behrend got a win in each doubles and singles competition. David Buiter (London, England/IMG Academies) and Raphael Bretz (Wexford, PA/North Allegheny) posted an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles, while Carson Emili (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon) picked up the victory in three sets (7-6, 2-6, 10-5) at No. 5 singles.
The Lions completed their fall schedule and will return to action in February.
