Seven Named to All-AMCC Men's Tennis Team

ERIE, Pa. – Seven members of the Penn State Behrend men's tennis squad were named to the All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Team, announced on Wednesday.

Sophomore Carson Emili (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon), junior Mason Marion (Ellwood City, PA/Riverside) and senior Raphael Bretz (Wexford, PA/North Allegheny) were chosen to the first team. Sophomore Taimi Ando (Franklin Lakes, NJ/Ramapo), senior Chris Galvin (Erie, PA/McDowell), sophomore Lerdlarp Jaturapol (Bangkok, Thailand/Palmerslon), and junior David Buiter (London, England/IMG Academies) earned a spot on the second team.

Emili was selected to the first team for winning the individual championship at No. 6 singles.  Marion and Bretz teamed up to win at No. 3 doubles at the conference championship, earning first-team honors.

Ando, Galvin, Bretz and Jaturapol tabbed a pair of All-Conference accolades. Ando and Galvin were runners-up at the AMCC Tournament at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively, and at No. 2 doubles. Galvin finishes out his career as an eight-time All-Conference selection, earning first-team honors in singles and doubles the previous three seasons.

Jaturapol placed second at No. 3 singles and then teamed up with Buiter at No. 2 doubles for second-team honors. Bretz earned his second all-conference nod at No. 5 singles, after finishing in second at the AMCC Championships.
