ERIE, Pa. – Senior Chris Galvin (Erie, PA/McDowell) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Men’s Tennis Player of the Week, announced on Monday.

Galvin went undefeated in conference play this week while surrendering only one set point against Mount Aloysius at No. 2 singles, winning 6-0 and 6-1.  Against Penn State Altoona, Galvin was a 6-2, 6-2 winner. He also added two doubles wins. His efforts helped the Lions push their AMCC record to 3-0.

Behrend will be back in action on March 26 at Pitt-Bradford.  Start time is set for 6 p.m.
