ERIE, Pa. – The Pitt-Bradford men's tennis team post a 7-2 decision over Penn State Behrend in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Friday night at Westwood Racquet Club.

The Lions (3-12, 2-1 AMCC) were able to get two singles wins from Brett Palmer (North East, PA/North East) and Guillermo Guillen (San Pedro Sula, Honduras/E.I.S). Guillen, playing at No. 1 singles, took K. Teverovskiy to three sets for a 7-6, 2-6, 7-6 victory.

Palmer earned his third straight singles win and first at the fourth spot with a 6-0, 3-6, 6-4 decision.

The Panthers remain undefeated in conference play with the win. Pitt-Bradford swept the doubles competition and only needed two singles to get the AMCC victory.

Behrend's matches tomorrow in Pittsburgh against Waynesburg and Washington & Jefferson have been cancelled. The Lions will return to action next Saturday against Penn State Altoona at 4 p.m.
