Men's Tennis Falls to Pitt-Greensburg

GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team fell to Pitt-Greensburg 9-0 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Sunday afternoon.

The Bobcats not only won all three doubles games and all six singles, but it marked the first time in Pitt-Greensburg defeated the Lions in program history.

Brett Palmer (North East, PA/North East) fell in the first singles set 7-5 and could not recover in the fifth spot, while George Tomoiga (Reading, PA/Wilson) took his opponent into three sets at No. 6 singles.

Behrend returns to action on Tuesday at Allegheny, starting at 4 p.m.
