ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's tennis freshman Matthew Johnson (Lakewood, NY / Southwestern) has been named to the 2015 All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) second team, announced on Tuesday.

Johnson earned his first spot on the All-Conference team for posting a 7-2 record at No. 2 singles, including a 4-2 mark in AMCC play. He finished his rookie season on a six-match winning streak in the second position and had an overall singles record of 8-4.

As a team, the Lions advanced to the AMCC semifinals but fell to second-seed Penn State Altoona. Behrend ended with a 6-9 overall record.
