ERIE, Pa. – The Mount Union men's tennis team handed Penn State Behrend a 9-0 loss in the second game of the Lions fall season on Friday night.
The Purple Raiders (2-0) were able to win all three doubles and six singles matches for the non-conference victory.
Mt. Union only gave up just 11 set points in five singles matches that were completed.
Freshman Scott Russell (Pittsburgh, PA/Upper St. Clair) was Behrend's top singles player and he fell 6-1, 6-3 to Jackson Schneider.
The Lions return to action tomorrow against Geneva at 12 p.m.
