NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace men's tennis team posted a 7-2 win over Penn State Behrend in non-conference action on Saturday night at the North Ridge Tennis and Golf Club.
The Yellow Jackets (4-0) remain undefeated on the season, winning two doubles matches and five singles. The Lions (1-3) earned wins at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles.
Scott Russell (Pittsburgh, PA/Upper St. Clair) was a double winner for Behrend. He joined Yanigue Apgar (Pittsburgh, PA) to start the match at No. 1 doubles. The pair posted a 9-7 win over Dominic Polifone and Matt Harris.
Russell then tallied a three-set against Harris at No. 2 singles. The sophomore recorded a 6-3, 5-7, 10-4 decision.
The Lions return to action on Saturday against Waynesburg at 6 p.m.
