MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny men's tennis team posted an 8-1 non-conference victory over Penn State Behrend on Friday afternoon.
The Gators went ahead 2-1 after the doubles competition and then won all six singles matches for the victory.
Yanique Apgar (Pittsburgh, PA) and Brenden Dollard (Pittsburgh, PA/Peters Township) tallied the lone win for the Lions (12-6) at No. 1 doubles. Apgar and Dollard teamed up for the first time this season to post an 8-5 decision over Jai Redkar and Cooper Miller.
Behrend returns to action on Sunday at Franciscan for its final regular-season match, beginning at 2 p.m.
