ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team registered an 8-1 win over Waynesburg in non-conference action on Friday night at Westwood Racquet Club.

* The Behrend Lions won all six singles matches to break open a 2-1 doubles lead after the first three matches
* The Lions had two double winners in Mason Harbaugh (Greensburg, PA/Hempfield) and Belden Tuttle (Fairview, PA/Fairview)
* Harabaugh won at No. 4 singles (6-0, 6-2) and then teamed up with Jimmy Lobdell (Warren, PA/Warren) for an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles
* Tuttle and Mitchell May (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) blanked their opponents in the fifth and sixth spots, respectively, while Tuttle and Matthew Brown (Oviedo, FL) recorded an 8-2 doubles win at the No. 3 spot
* Michael Duckett (Girard, PA/Fairview) and Noah Colvin (Warren, PA/Warren) each won their singles matches in tie-breaker sets
* Duckett defeated Conor Cassidy at the No. 2 spot (6-1, 5-7, 10-6), while Colvin posted a 6-7, 6-2, 10-7 win over Tanner McKnight at third singles
* Ricky Dong (Beijing, China/Keystone Academy) has now won seventh singles matches in a row, posting a 6-2, 6-0 decision at No. 1
