BUFFALO, NY – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team defeated Medaille 7-2 to earn their first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) win of the season on Saturday.

* The Behrend Lions swept the doubles matches and won four of the six singles matches
* Behrend had four double winners on the day
* Kyle Thomas (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) and Noah Colvin (Warren, PA/Warren) led the team at No. 1 doubles, winning 8-4
* Michael Brudy (Gibsonia, PA/Pine Richland) and Belden Tuttle (Fairview, PA/Fairview) blanked their opponent 8-0 at No. 2 doubles, while Matthew Brown (Oviedo, FL/Paul J. Hagerty) and Alex Vardzel (Ellwood City, PA/Lincoln) completed the doubles wins with an 8-2 decision at the No. 3 spot
* The No. 2 singles decision belonged to Colvin for the Behrend Lions. He fell in the first set 7-5 but came back to win 6-0 and 10-5 in the super tiebreaker
* Brudy collected his second win at No. 3 singles (6-2, 6-1) and Brown won at No. 4 singles (6-1, 7-5)
