Behrend Men's Tennis Hilton Head Bound

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team will compete in four matches over Spring Break in Hilton Head, South Carolina, beginning on Monday, March 7.

Penn State Behrend vs. St. John Fisher, 4 p.m.

Penn State Behrend vs. Capital, 2:30 p.m.

* The Behrend Lions are returning to action for the first time since Feb. 26
* Last time out, Behrend split a pair of non-conference matches
* The Lions fell to Westminster 6-3 and defeated Alfred 9-0
* Mitchell May (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) was named the AMCC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week
* May went undefeated on the week; 2-0 in singles action and 1-0 in doubles
* Colvin won at No. 2 singles in a tiebreaker set vs. Titans and also registered a 6-0, 6-1 victory vs. Alfred
* May also teamed with Jonathon Laier (Lansing, MI/Holt) for an 8-7 doubles win vs. the Titans at No. 1
* The Lions are now 6-4 overall and 2-0 in the AMCC
