ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team posted a pair of wins by the score of 9-0 over Thiel and Alfred in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at Westwood Racquet Club.

Scores: Penn State Behrend 9, Thiel 0; Penn State Behrend 9, Alfred 0

Records: Penn State Behrend (4-4), Thiel (0-1), Alfred (1-1)

Key Moments:

* The Lions were able to even their record at 4-4 with the two wins
* Between the two matches, Behrend had 14 sets where they did not give up a point
* Against the Tomcats, Mitchell May (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) and Evan Hillhouse (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) did not surrender a set point at No. 3 and No. 5 singles, respectively
* Ritvik Nadikude (Hyderabad, India/The Gaudium School) and Jonathon Laier (Lansing, MI/Holt) won 8-0 at No. 1 doubles
* Nadikude, Lair, May and Cody Jaconski (DuBois, PA/DuBois) were undefeated in both matches on the day, winning twice in each match
* Nadikude improve to 6-2 and is on a three-match winning streak at No. 1 singles, posting an 6-1, 6-2 victory vs. Thiel and followed with a 6-0, 6-2 win vs. Alfred
* Lair and Mason Harbaugh (Greensburg, PA/Hempfield) blanked their opponents 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 and No. 4 singles against the Saxons in the second match
