MONROE COUNTY, NY -  The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team tallied their first win of the season with a 6-3 decision over Nazareth in non-conference action on Thursday.

Key Moments

* The Lions were down 2-1 after the doubles competition
* Behrend rallied to win five of the six singles matches
* Three of the six singles matches went into a tiebreaker
* Cody Jaconski (DuBois, PA/DuBois) and Owen Sinnott (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) were both down a game in the third tiebreaker set  and pulled out the win for the Lions
* At No. 4 singles, Jaconski fell in the first wet 5-7 and rallied to win 6-4, 7-6
* Jaconski, competing at No. 5 singles, won the first set 6-3 and fell 6-4 before winning 7-5
* Jonathon Laier (Lansing, MI/Holt) and Akash Sangha (Milton, Ontario/White Oaks) were winners at No 1 doubles
* Together, the duo won 8-4 for the first point
* Laier was the lone double winner 6-0, 7-6 at No. 1 singles
