Men's Tennis Opens Spring Season With Otterbein Saturday
The Penn State Behrend men’s tennis team will open the spring season against Otterbein in a non-conference match on Saturday afternoon. Match is set for 2 p.m. at Westwood Racquet Club.
ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team will open the spring season against Otterbein in a non-conference match on Saturday afternoon. Match is set for 2 p.m. at Westwood Racquet Club.

* The Lions won their final two matches in the fall to sit at 3-2 overall
* Behrend defeated Thiel 6-1 and Mt. Union 4-3
* Against the Purple Raiders, the Lions won the doubles point and No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 singles for the win
* Graham Louis (Erie, PA/Fairview) leads the team with a 4-1 singles record and is on a three-match win streak
* Louis has competed at No. 3, 4 and 5 singles
* Competing in the top spot, Jonathon Laier (Lansing, MI/Holt) is 3-2 overall at No. 1 singles and is 2-2 at No. 1 doubles
* Louis and William Thomas (Greensburg, PA/Greensburg Salem) also have two doubles win this season
* The Lions are the reigning 2024 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Champions
* Last season, the Lions fell to Otterbein 9-0
