Pikalo Earns AMCC Player of the Week

Penn State Behrend men’s tennis freshman Vitaliy Pikalo (Hampton, PA/Hampton) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week for the period running from February 24-March 2.

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's tennis freshman Vitaliy Pikalo (Hampton, PA/Hampton) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week for the period running from February 24-March 2.

Pikalo posted a 2-1 overall record in both doubles and singles last week. He tallied a 6-3, 6-3 decision at No. 3 singles and posted a 6-0 victory at No. 2 doubles in the Lions' first AMCC win of the season.

The men's tennis team will head to Hilton Head, SC for three matches, beginning on Saturday, March 8.
