Men's Bill Van Horne Invitational Results
The Penn State Behrend men’s track and field program competed in the Bill Van Horne Invitational hosted by Wheeling Jesuit, Saturday.
WHEELING, WV. – The Penn State Behrend men's track and field program competed in the Bill Van Horne Invitational hosted by Wheeling Jesuit, Saturday.
Ronson Mazany returned to where he last left off in the 2011 indoor season. The senior jumper took third place in the long-jump competition soaring 6.42m. Additional notables for the men in the field events were Eston Winn and Calvin Schmader. Winn cleared 4.10 meters in the pole vault (5th) while Schmader threw the shot put 12.46m collecting sixth overall.
The Lions runners were led by Craig Webb who had two individual top-10 finishes on the day. Webb took sixth place in the 400m (51.58 seconds) and in the 200m race as well, clocking in at 23.43 seconds. Webb later joined Jordan Telin, Cody Bupp, and Shane Cyphert to place fifth in the 4x400m competition (3:30.52).
The Penn State Behrend track and field program will next head to the Washington & Jefferson Invitational April 2.
