ALLIANCE, Oh. – The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team continued their 2014 indoor campaign at the Mt. Union College Jim Wuske Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Malik Moffett-Pulliam (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) continued his superb rookie season by winning the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.02 seconds. It is the third time in as many weeks the freshman has qualified for ECAC's in that event.

Pulliam then finished third in the high jump at 2.01 meters. That number also qualifies him for ECAC's. Kevin Gardner (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) carded a fifth place finish in the same event, jumping 1.86 meters.

The Lions team of Moffett-Pulliam, Geoffrey Faltot (Mercer, PA/Mercer), Kevin Lai (Ridgewood, NJ/Ridgewood), and Joseph Neff (North East, PA/North East) finished second in the 4X200 meter relay with a time of 1:33.15. That time was good for a new Behrend indoor record and qualified the group for ECAC's.

Matt McWilliams (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) also qualified for ECAC's in the 1000 meter run, finishing second with a time of 2:33.79. In doing so, he broke his own school record.

Josh Natalie (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) had a strong second place finish in the 500 meter dash with a time of 1:08.34. That time qualified Natalie for ECAC's.

In the long jump, Faltot went a distance of 6.49 meters. That was good for a fourth place finish.

Matthew Grafton (Worthington, PA/Kittanning) ran the 60 meter hurdles in 8.79 which was good for a third place finish.

The squadron of Patrick Shipton (Mercer, PA/Mercer), Charles Dutton (King of Prussia, PA/Upper Marion), Phil Martone (Erie, PA/Mercyhurst Prep), and Cody Cornell (Conneaut Lake, PA/Conneaut Lake) came in second in the distance medley relay with a time of 11:26.10.

Behrend will travel to Berea, Ohio for the Baldwin Wallace Invitational on February 14.
