ERIE, Pa. – Two members of the Penn State Behrend women's track and field team, and one men's athlete were named Division III All-Region, announced on Monday.

To be named All-Region, the athlete must be ranked in the top-5 of an individual event or top-3 relay team.

The lone man to earn the award was freshman Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca). He was All-Mideast Region in the high jump.

As for the women, Rachel Pell (Elizabeth, PA/Elizabeth Forward) and Haley Yenchik (Cecil, PA/Canon McMillan) both garnered All-Region honors. Pell was recognized for her 400m performance and Yenchik was awarded the honor in the pole vault.

Both the men's and women's squad will return to action for the outdoor season.
