ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's indoor track & field program will travel to Alliance, Ohio to compete in the Mount Union Invitational on Saturday. The meet begins at 11 a.m.

* The Lions competed at the Kane Invitational on Saturday hosted by Cornell
* Behrend had 20 top-eight finishes at the event
* Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) won the men's high jump event with a leap of 2.02m, his second win of the season
* Kurt Eberhardt (Gibsonia, PA/Hampton) had two top-eight finishes with a third-place mark in the 200m (23.00) and fifth in the men's 60m dash (7.16)
* Nick LaChut (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) followed Eberhardt in the 200m in seventh (23.68) along with tallying a  second place finish in the pole vault (4.51m) with a AARTFC qualifying height
* As a team, the Lions have eight individuals and one relay that are qualifiers for the All-Atlantic championship
* Smith is ranked second in the AARTFC in the high jump with a 2.07m height
* The distance medley relay team of Chris Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview), Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport), Zachary Tingley (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview), and Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) holds the third-place spot in the AARTFC
