Track Competes at Nazareth Friday Evening
The Penn State Behrend men's track & field team competed at the Nazareth Invitational on Friday.
ROCHESTER, NY. – The Penn State Behrend men's track & field team competed at the Nazareth Invitational on Friday.
Key Moments:
* Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) won the high jump for the fourth time this season, clearing 2.05m
* The Lions went one, two, five, seven, and nine in the men's pole vault with Jack Georgetson (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell) leading the way with gold (4.80m)
* Nick Lachut (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) followed Georgetson in second clearing 4.80m
* Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) tallied a second place finish in the 800m (1:58.58)
* Antonio Stello (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) finished second (7.05) followed by Amory Coleman-Reeves (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) in fourth (7.12), both All-Atlantic marks
* Stello also ran 22.62 in the 200m for third place and an All-Atlantic qualifying mark while Coleman-Reeves finished fourth in the long jump (6.83m)
* In the men's shot put, Matt Michael (Erie, PA/Iroquois) finished fifth (14.65m)
