ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend track & field team competed at the Slippery Rock Invitational today.

Key Moments:

* The Lions had four athletes qualify for the All-Atlantic meet today
* Antonio Stello (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) qualified in the 200m dash, running a time of 22.20 for a second place finish
* In the discus, Dan Dabrowski (Erie, PA/Harborcreek) took home first place with an All-Atlantic qualifying throw of 45.56m
* Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) and Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) went one and two in the men's high jump with leaps of 2.06m and 2.01m, respectively. Both qualified for the All-Atlantic meet
*  The women's 4x400m team of Izzy Spires (Erie, PA/Seneca), Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin Area), Haley Felton (Midway, PA/Fort Cherry), and Madison Kappeler (Cecil, PA/Canon-McMillan) finished in second place (4:58.70)
* Kappeler finished sixth in the pole vault (3.08m)
* Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport) took home first in the 400m dash (52.08)
* In the 1500m run, Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) finished first with a time of 4:04.69
