Men's Track and Field Headlines All-CSAC Honors
The Penn State Behrend men's outdoor and track and field team won the Colonial States Athletic (CSAC) Championship on May 8 and the Lions took home All-CSAC honors in 34 events.
ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's outdoor and track and field team won the Colonial States Athletic (CSAC) Championship on May 8 and the Lions took home All-CSAC honors in 34 events.
Senior Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) won the 2021 Track Athlete of the Year while Matt Michael (Erie, PA/Iroquois) won the 2021 Field Athlete of the Year. Head coach Greg Cooper was named the CSAC Coach of the Year. The men's track and field team earned the 3-D Award. The 3D Award recognizes the teams in each sport that best demonstrate the NCAA Division-III philosophy of "Discover, Develop, Dedicate." The 3D Award was conceived and developed by the CSAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
