ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team heads to Rochester, New York on Friday for the Alumni Opener hosted by Nazareth College.

* Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) finished the one mile with a time of 4:33.34 to claim first place
* Myers also had the fastest time in the 5000m, clocking in at 16:10.55
* The 1600m relay team of Nick Temel (Conneaut Lake, PA/Conneaut Lake), Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport), Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) and Nicholas Hartman (Cranberry Twp., PA/Seneca Valley) finished in 3:34.49 for second place
* Behrend had six others finish an event in the top-5
* Islam Daghestani (Meadville, PA/Meadville Area) took third place in pole vaulting with a mark of 4.08m
* Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) had the best finish in the field last weekend with a leap of 2.00m in the high jump to take second place
