Men's Track and Field Set School Records While Competing at Wittenberg

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team continued to set personal bests as well as set school records this weekend as they took part in the Steemer Showcase hosted by Wittenberg University.

Key Moments:
* Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) and Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) both had clearances in the high jump of 2.08m, tying the indoor school record
* Both Smith and Hetrick are currently tied for second in the nation with that mark in the event
* Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) ranked fourth today in the 800m with a time 1:54.28, setting the new Behrend indoor record
* Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport) completed the 400m in 50.06, also setting the indoor school record
* Stehlik also finished the 200m in 10th place with a final mark of 23.03
* Antonio Stello (Punxsutawney, PA, Punxsutawney) won the 200m, pacing all others with a time of 22.45
* Blake Burns (Jefferson, OH/Jefferson) set a PR in the 60m hurdles, clocking in at 8.63, finishing in seventh
* Burns also finished in fourth in the 60m dash with a final mark of 7.36

* Behrend will head to Ashland University for another meet next weekend, beginning on Friday, February 4 for a two-day event
