Men's Track and Field Takes Part in Invitational Hosted by Ashland

ASHLAND, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team competed in the Jud Logan Invitational on Saturday, hosted by Ashland University.

Key Moments:

* Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) claimed the No. 2 spot in the NCAA in the high jump with a clearance of 2.10m on Saturday to win the event
* Hetrick previously registered a leap of 2.08m twice and was tied for best in the nation with fellow Lion, Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) prior to today
* Antonio Stello (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) came in eighth place in the 60m dash with a time of 7.07
* Stello also beat his time in the 200m from last weekend, finishing at 22.39
* Blake Burns (Jefferson, OH/Jefferson Area) collected a 14th place finish in the 60m hurdles, crossing at 8.63
* Phoenix Myers (Erie,PA/Seneca) paced Behrend in the one mile with a time of 4:26.91
* Islam Daghestani (Meadville, PA/Meadville Area) was 15th in the pole vault with a final mark of 4.25m
