Men's Track and Field Continue to Set Personal Records as Lions Compete at Tiffin

TIFFIN, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team took part in the Reggie Thomas Collegiate Classic hosted by Tiffin on Saturday.

Key Moments:

* Matt Laslavic (Zelienople, PA/Seneca Valley) had a ninth place finish in his first-ever heptathlon, collecting 2199 points
* Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) set a personal record in the 60m while taking home first place on Saturday with a time of 7.26
* Blake Burns (Jefferson, OH/Jefferson Area) saw a ninth place finish in the 60m hurdles, clocking in at 8.89
* Burns also set a PR in the 200m with a time of 24.09
* Antonio Stello (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) finished the 200m in 11th place with a time of 23.09
* Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport) captured fourth in the 400m, crossing at 51.73
* Nick Hartman (Cranberry Twp., PA/Seneca Valley) would have a career best in the same event, setting a PR with 53.73
* Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) was the ninth to finish in both the 3000m and the one mile
* Nick Lachut (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) had a season-best 4.11m pole vault
