Stehlik and Burns Register AARTFC-Qualifying Marks at Ashland Alumni Open

ASHLAND, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team wrapped up the Ashland Alumni Open on Saturday, concluding with Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport) qualifying for another event for the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships.

Noteworthy:

* Stehlik set a personal best and an AARTFC-qualifying mark in the 400m, finishing in 49.49 for seventh place this weekend
* Stehlik also logged a personal record in the 200m with a time of 24.47
* Aidan Domencic (Cranberry Twp., PA/Seneca Valley) grabbed bronze in the 3000m steeplechase, finishing in 10:14.40
* Blake Burns (Jefferson, OH/Jefferson Area) qualified for the AARTFC Championships for the 110m hurdles with a 15.69 mark
* Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) won the high jump, leaping 2.00m for gold
* Jake Rose (Lawrence Park, PA/Iroquois) hit a PR in the shot put with a toss of 14.15m, qualifying for the AARTFC meet
