Dabrowski Earns All-American Accolade With Eighth-Place Finish at NCAA Championships

GENEVA, Ohio – Penn State Behrend sophomore Dan Dabrowski (Harborcreek, PA/Harborcreek) clinched NCAA All-American status on Thursday following his performance in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Dabrowski was the only representative from the Penn State Behrend men's track and field team to participate in discus and finished the event in eighth place. His first toss of the day resulted in a foul but bounced back with a throw of 48.89m. The following attempt, he surpassed 49m with a mark of 49.05m. It would not be until his fifth throw he would log his best mark of the day at 49.73m.

The national accolade makes for the 18th All American in program history.
