Behrend Men's Indoor T&F Competes at Ashland

ASHLAND, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's indoor track & field team competed at the Jud Logan "Light Giver" Collegiate Open hosted by Ashland University on Friday and Saturday.

Key Moments:

* Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) tied for third in the high jump with a height of 6-06.75
* Hetrick set the meet record last year in the high jump
* Cody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) recorded an AARTFC qualifying time in the 800m (1:56.39) to finish 14th overall
* In the pole vault, Ryan Festa (Horsham, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) and Islam Daghestani (Meadville, PA/Meadville Area) paced the Lions
* Festa improves to 4.55m for ninth place, while Daghestani hit an AARTFC mark with 4.40m for 11th overall
* Matthew Laslavic (Evans City, PA/Seneca Valley) took ninth in the triple jump, going the distance of 41-01.0
