Hetrick High Jump Champion, Breaks School Record at AARTFC Championships

NEW YORK, NY – Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) is the All-Atlantic Region Indoor Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Champion in the high jump, leading Penn State Behrend at the AARTFC Championships at the NYC Armory.

Key Moments:

* Hetrick broke his own school record in the high jump with a new NCAA DIII mark of 7'.05" (2.15m)
* Anand Bhambhwani (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon) was ninth in the high jump (6' 2.75")
* In the 60m, Antonio Stello (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) crossed the line in 7.05
* The DMR team consisting of Nick Temel (Conneaut Lake, PA/Conneaut), Aidan Reinsel (North East, PA/North East), Jason Seevers (North East, PA/North East) and Aidan Domencic (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) clocked in at 10:34.22 for 12th place overall
* As a team, the Lions tied for 20th place with 10 points out of 42 teams
