Behrend Men's Track & Field Performs at Slippery Rock; Bhambhwani Wins High Jump

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Anand Bhambhwani (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon) won the high jump with an AARTFC qualifying mark to help the Penn State Behrend outdoor men's track & field team at the Slippery Rock Invitational on Saturday.

Key Moments:

* Bhambhwani won the high jump with a height of 1.93m, while also placing third in the 110m hurdles (16.06)
* Islam Daghestani (Meadville, PA/Meadville Area) and Lucas Makai (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington Regional) tied for fourth place in the pole vault with a height of 4.06m
* Max Rohl (Horsehead, NY/Horseheads) led the Lions in the hammer throw with eighth place (42.84m) while Matthew Laslavic (Evans City, PA/Seneca Valley) came in 11th place in the javelin (46.25m)
* In the shot put, Alex Cotton (Saxonburg, PA/Knoch) took 10th place with a distance of 13.52m
* In the running events, Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) finished in eighth in the 800m with a time of 2:05.09
* Aidan Domencic (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) was 12th in the 5000m with a time of 16:55.02
* Bennett Kerr (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) was on the heels of Domencic for 13th in 16:55.72
