Domencic Surpasses Own School Steeplechase Record; Registers Regional Qualifying Time At Baldwin Wallace

BEREA, Ohio. - Senior Aidan Domencic (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) set a new Penn State Behrend men's track & field outdoor record in the 3000m steeplechase at Harrison Dillard Twilight meet, hosted by Baldwin Wallace on Saturday.

Key Moments:

* Domencic ran a time of 9:36.21 in the steeplechase to surpass his previous record time of 9:40.19 which he set at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Outdoor Championships last season
* This time was good for 14th place and also was a regional qualifying finish
* In the 200m, freshman Jake Egizio (Canonsburg, PA/Canon-McMillan) qualified for regionals with a 14th-place time of 21.90
* Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) delivered a time of 1:54.79 in the 800m for 13th place
