Cotton Throws Personal Best At SPIRE Indoor Games

GENEVA, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's indoor track & field team participated in the SPIRE Indoor Games on Saturday.
Key Moments:
* Junior Alex Cotton (Saxonburg, PA/Knoch) earned fourth in the shot put with a personal-best throw of 53-8 ½
* Ryan Festa (Horsham, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) tied for fifth with a season-best height of 14-9 in the pole vault
* Jumpers Brandon Konieczki (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) (21-9/Long Jump) and Derek Hillhouse (Erie, PA/McDowell) (6-0 ¾/High Jump) placed seventh and 13th in their respective events
* In the 200m, Carter Tobin (Irwin, PA/Norwin) and Jake Egizio (Canonsburg, PA/Canon-McMillan) secured season best marks
* Tobin finished eighth with a season-best time of 22.38 and was followed by Egizio's mark of 22.40 for ninth place
* Tobin would also go on to place eighth with a season-best time of 7.06 in the 60m dash
* The 4x4 relay team of Tobin, Aidan Reinsel (North East, PA/North East), Teddy Ola Jr. (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin), and Jake Nardozza (Harrison City, PA/Penn-Trafford) claimed eighth with a time of 3:31.39 to end the meet
