ITHACA, N.Y. – The Penn State Behrend men's indoor track & field 4x2 relay team set a new program record at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Indoor Championships on Saturday.
Key Moments:
* The 4x2 relay team of Carter Tobin (Irwin, PA/Norwin), Jake Egizio (Canonsburg, PA/Canon-McMillan), Jake Nardozza (Harrison City, PA/Penn-Trafford), and Cole Cunningham (Mercer, PA/Mercer) earned a trip to the podium with a new school record time of 1:30.50 for fifth place
* The quartet surpassed the team of Kurt Eberhardt, Matthew Grafton, Luke Patten, and Grant Rodgers that delivered a time of 1:31.19 on March 3, 2017
* Tobin (Irwin, PA/Norwin) registered 12th with a time of 22.31 in the 200m finals, while Egizio placed 29th with a time of 23.09
* As a team, Behrend recorded 16th place with 15 points over the two-day championship
