Munk Named To All-UVC Team

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's volleyball sophomore middle hitter Trenton Munk (Baden, PA/Ambridge) has been named to the 2015 United Volleyball Conference (UVC) All-Conference Team, announced on Thursday.

Munk is just the second player in program history to be selected to the All-UVC team. He was an honorable-mention choice after ranking third in the UVC in blocks (106) and fifth in hitting percentage (.379). Munk has been in the Top 10 all season in Division III statistics for blocks per set and currently is ranked 12th (1.12).

He also leads the team with 221 kills, posting a season-best 15 kills in a five-set win over D'Youville in the third match of the season. Munk also knocked down a career-high eight blocks in a victory over Hilbert. He had double-digit kills in 10 matches and five without a hitting error, recording his best game at Hilbert with an 11-0-15 stat line for a season-best .733 hitting percentage.
