ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's volleyball freshman setter Anthony Sprentz (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) has been named the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) Rookie of the Week, announced on Monday.

The newcomer averaged 10.1 assists in a 2-2 week for the Lions. He dished out 152 assists and had 32 digs in four matches. Sprentz was one assist away from tying his season best with 50 helpers against D'Youville. He posted a double-double with 46 assists and 17 digs in a 3-1 win over Hilbert on Saturday.

Behrend returns to action tomorrow against Loras. Match begins at 4:30 p.m.
