Munk Named UVC All-Conference Honorable Mention

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's volleyball junior middle hitter Trenton Munk (Baden, PA/Ambridge) has been named to the 2016 United Volleyball Conference (UVC) All-Conference Team, announced on Thursday.

This is the second straight season Munk has earned All-Conference accolades as an honorable-mention selection. He ranked fifth in the UVC and 10th in Division III in attack percentage (.425), and was seventh in blocks per set (0.91). Munk registered a team-high 279 kills, second most kills in a season in program history.

He registered double-digit kills in 15 matches, averaging 2.85 kills per set for third most in a season. Munk saved his best performance for last with 20 kills, hitting .581 in a 3-1 win over Hilbert on Tuesday.

In three years, he has amassed 521 kills to rank sixth all-time and is third in kills per set with 2.42. He also is first in the record books in attack percentage (.393).
