NEW YORK, NY – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team posted a 3-1 non-conference win over John Jay on Sunday afternoon.
The Lions (8-7) fell behind in the first set 25-15 to the Bloodhounds (9-6), but then rallied to win three unanswered sets 25-18, 25-18, and 25-23.
Dillon Hildebrand (Red Lion, PA/Red Lion) had a double-double with a team-best 15 kills and 10 digs, while Anthony Sprentz (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) handed out 27 assists.
Joey Reynolds (Saegertown, PA/Saegertown) added seven kills and two blocks. Tyler Herrmann (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) posted nine digs and seven kills.
Behrend returns to action tomorrow against Wells at 5 p.m.
