ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team had four players named to the 2018 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) All-Conference Team, while sophomore Dillon Hildebrand (Red Lion, PA/Red Lion) was chosen Co-Player of the Year and head coach Phil Pisano earned Co-Coach of the Year.

Hildebrand was also named to the All-AMCC first team, while juniors Tyler Herrmann (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley), Anthony Sprentz (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) and Robert McMaster (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) were selected to the second team for their first all-conference honors.

Pisano was tabbed Coach of the Year for the third time mentoring the men, marking his eighth overall as a head coach at Behrend.  Hildebrand is the second Player of the Year for the Lions in program history.

Hildebrand was chosen to the first team after earning second-team honors a year ago. The outside hitter led the AMCC in kills (310) and was second in kills per set (3.48). He also ranked third in total aces (25) and 12^th in digs (161). Hildebrand registered double-digit kills in 18 matches and tallied five double-doubles, including a season-high 23 kills and 11 digs against St. John Fisher.

Herrmann, the co-captain and primary passer, was second on the team and fourth in the conference kills per set (2.62) and fifth in points per set (3.0). He tallied three double-doubles this season, including a career-high 18 kills to go with 10 digs against Medaille. Herrmann also added 152 digs (tied for fourth on the team), 38 blocks and 11 service aces.

Sprentz led the AMCC in assists per set (8.49) to land on the All-Conference Team for the first time. He also ranked 11^th in digs per set (1.81) and had a .302 attack percentage. The junior was just shy of reaching 2,000 assists for his career, dishing out a 722 helpers this season to put him 33 away from the milestone. He played in all but one match this year, recording a season-best 52 assists against Penn State Altoona. Sprentz finished with 154 digs, 43 kills, 28 blocks and eight aces.

McMaster was a second-team choice after leading the conference in digs per set (3.26), finishing the season with 290 digs and giving up just 10 receiving errors in 25 matches. He registered double-digit digs in 14 matches, including a career-high 22 digs against Penn State Altoona.
