Sprentz Hits 2,000 Career Assists; Lions Defeat Cairn, St. Joseph

LANGHORNE, Pa. – Senior Anthony Sprentz (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) registered 32 assists over a pair of matches to break 2,000 career assists and help the Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team post a 2-0 record on the day.

Match One: Penn State Behrend 3, St. Joseph 0 (25-9, 25-8, 25-12)

* Freshman Cody Schnur (Butler, PA/Butler) hit .545 with eight kills on 11 attempts with two errors
* Sprentz tallied nine assists to put him eight helpers away from reaching the career milestone

* McMaster and Tyler Herrmann (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) each had double-digit digs with 15 and 12, respectively
* Herrmann added four aces and two kills
* Hildebrand had a team-best nine kills
