AURORA, NY – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team split a pair of non-conference matches, defeating Wilson 3-0 and then falling to Wells 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Match One
Scores:
Penn State Behrend 3, Wilson (25-10, 25-20, 25-14)
Records: Penn State Behrend (11-6), Wilson (4-10)

Key Moments:

* The Lions tied a season-best with seven errors
* Behrend never trailed in the match and hit a match-high .519 in the second set
* The Lions recorded a season-high .455 attack percentage in the match
* Behrend had 11 players record a kill or more in the match led by JP Goodsel (Corry, PA/Corry) with seven kills
* Senior setter Anthony Sprentz (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) dished out 17 assists and Zachary Lizun (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park) made a career-high five blocks
* The Lions held Wilson to four kills in the first and third set

* Wells own its third straight match, sweeping the Lions in the second contest of the day
* The Express held Behrend to second-lowest offensive output of the season with 23 kills
* Junior Dillon Hildebrand (Red Lion, PA/Red Lion) had a team-high nine kills
* Sprentz dished out 19 assists and team-best five digs
* Behrend was on Wells' heels the entire match, taking an 18-17 lead in the second set before falling 25-19
* The Lions also held a one-point lead in the third but went on an 11-6 run to win the match
