ERIE, Pa. – The Mount Union men's volleyball team rallied back from a 2-1 deficit to defeat Penn State Behrend in five sets in non-conference action on Thursday night in the Junker Center.

* Mt. Union earned its first win over Behrend Lions to spoil their home opener
* The Purple Raider remain undefeated with the five-set victory
* Tied at 21-all in the third set, Behrend got a kill from Colin Dedert and JP Goodsel along with help from Mt. Union attack errors to take a two-set lead
* The fourth set saw five lead changes and nine ties to force a decisive fifth set
* The Lions had a small 3-2 edge in the fifth, but the Purple Raiders Justin Sibble tallied six of the eight kills in the set to give Mt. Union the win
