Behrend Volleyball Faces Geneva, Hiram in AMCC Quad Match Saturday

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team will travel to Beaver Falls, Pa. to take on the Geneva Golden Tornadoes and the Hiram Terriers in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) quad match on Saturday.

* Behrend vs. Geneva is the AMCC Match of the Week
* The Lions and Golden Tornadoes are both undefeated in the conference with a 3-0 mark
* Behrend is coming off a 3-0 win over Medaille on Wednesday (25-21, 25-23, 25-16)
* Cody Schnur (Butler, PA/Butler) finished with a near perfect game, hitting .692 with nine kills on 13 total attempts
Adrian Martinez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Wesleyan Academy) led with eight digs, while Jake Albert (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) added 16 assists, seven digs, three blocks and two kills
* Schnur is first in the AMCC with a .387  hitting percentage and Cody Geis (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) leads the league in blocks per set (1.10)

* The Golden Tornadoes are 14-6 overall and 3-0 in the AMCC
* Geneva has won five straight, including a 3-1 win at Hiram on Wednesday (22-25, 25-12, 25-19, 25-21)
* Last week, junior Anthony Baronio was named the AMCC and NCCAA Men's Volleyball Player of the Week
* On Wednesday at Hiram, Baronio finished with a season-high 20 kills. 
* Barnoio is in the top five in the AMCC in the number of kills, assists, blocks, digs and aces
* Senior Quinn McCracken added 13 kills against Hiram and leads the AMCC with 259 kills on a .320 hitting percentage
* The Golden Tornadoes were picked to finish first in the AMCC Coaches Preseason Poll
