CHICAGO, Ill.  – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball picked up a pair of non-conference wins, defeating Greenville and North Park 3-0 on Saturday evening.  

Match One:

Score:  Penn State Behrend 3, Greenville 0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-17)
Records: Penn State Behrend (10-6), Greenville (1-14)

Key Moments:
* The Lions tallied their second highest block assists this season with 18
* With a 10-9 lead in the first set, Dillon Hildebrand (Red Lion, PA/Red Lion) served nine straight points and got four aces to give Behrend an 18-9 lead
* The Lions got a 6-1 run in the second to pull away at 19-14 and post a two-set lead
* Behrend tallied 12 kills in the first two sets and then posted nine in the third for the sweep
* Hildebrand led with 12 kills and four service aces
* Diego Ortiz (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Wesleyan Academy) tallied 21 assists and five digs
* Adrian Martinez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Wesleyan Academy) posted a team-best 10 digs

Match Two:

Score:  Penn State Behrend 3, North Park 0 (25-14, 26-24, 25-21)
Records: Penn State Behrend (11-6), North Park (5-11)  

Key Moments:
* The Lions completed the day with a sweep of North Park
* Behrend went 11-0-16 for a .688 hitting percentage in the first set to win by 11 points
* Hildebrand put the Lions at set point in the second set with a kill and then the Lions earned the next two points on attack errors
* Behrend never trailed in the third and used a service ace from Josh Mathews (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) and JP Goodsel (Corry, PA/Corry) to get the third-set victory
* Cody Schnur (Butler, PA/Butler) and Jake Albert (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) each tallied eight kills
* Schnur hit .500 and Albert posted a .438 hitting percentage
* Mathews finished with 12 assists
