ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team hits the road to battle the Mt. Union Purple Raiders in a non-conference match tonight at 7 p.m.

* The Behrend Lions are coming off a fresh 3-0 win over Thiel last night
* The victory is the first of the season for the Lions
* Behrend tallied a convincing 25-10, 25-16, 25-15 win thanks to posting a .364 hitting percentage
* Freshman Logan Hering (North East, PA/North East) led all attackers and was the lone player with double-digit kills with 12
* Hering led the team in kills for the second straight match, going 12-for-19 to hit .632 with no errors
* Freshman Alex Jackson (Cochranton, PA/Cochranton) paced the Lions with a season-best 14 assists and added two digs
* With two games under his belt,  Hering leads the AMCC and the team with 3.86 kills per set
* The Behrend Lions were chosen to finish second in the AMCC Preseason Coaches Poll

* Mt. Union enters the match with a 10-2 record
* The Purple Raiders are coming off a pair of wins over Trine (3-0, 3-1) on Sunday

* The Purple Raiders have only lost 10 sets in their 12 matches
