Behrend Men's Volleyball Tops Mt. Aloysius and Hiram

HIRAM, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team stays atop the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference standings with 3-0 wins over Mt. Aloysius and Hiram on Saturday afternoon. 

Match One:
Score: Penn State Behrend 3, Mt. Aloysius 0 (25-8, 25-10, 25-13)
Records: Penn State Behrend (15-5, 9-1 AMCC), Mt. Aloysius (4-14, 0-9 AMCC)

Key Moments:

* The win marked the second three-set victory over the Mounties this season
* The Lions held a 41-11 advantage in kills and a 40-22 edge in digs
* Owen Wienczkowski (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) had a .692 attack percentage with 10 kills on 13 attempts and one error 
* Behrend only allowed eight points in the first set, leading to the sweep

* Two weeks ago, the Lions defeated the Terriers at home in three sets
* Behrend only needed eight kills to win the close first set, 27-25
* Hiram registered 16 kills and had 10 errors in the first set
