Behrend Men's Volleyball Hosts Tri-Match Saturday

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team will host Concordia Wisconsin and St. Vincent for a tri-match in the Junker Center on Saturday.

* Jackson also added three kills and three blocks to his stat line

* The Falcons open their season on Saturday
* Concordia Wisconsin posted 3-0 decisions in exhibition contests against Wisconsin Lutheran and Cardinal Stritch during preseason
* The Falcons were projected to finish in fourth place in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC)
* Concordia Wisconsin received one first-place vote and 250 points, the highest projection in program history
* Last year, the Falcons were 12-11 overall and 8-4 in NACC play
* Spencer Herman led the team with 357 kills (4.35 per set) while ranking second in digs (183)
* It marks the first-ever match between Concordia Wisconsin and Behrend

St. Vincent News & Notes

* The Bearcats are 1-1 overall and 0-1 in the AMCC
* St. Vincent got a 3-2 season-opening victory over Carlow, before falling to Geneva 3-0
* Senior outside hitter Matthew Minkin leads the team and the AMCC in kills per set (3.63)
* Senior libero Matthew Klasnic is first in the conference in digs per set (3.13)
* Minkin was a Second Team All-AMCC choice two years in a row
* Last season, the Bearcats fell twice to the Behrend Lions (3-2, 3-0)
